Welcome,

I’m a writer and editor telling stories about a world in transition.

I write about social and political culture through essays and a newsletter called The Murmuration. I also provide editorial services to agents, publishers and writers, helping them refine, polish and sometimes re-envision book proposals and manuscripts ahead of submission and publication.

Between 2017-2023 I worked at HarperCollins UK, first as a member of their graduate programme, and latterly as a commissioning editor for the literary nonfiction imprint William Collins. I hold degrees in politics from the University of Cambridge and the School of Oriental and African Studies.
